Try-On Service – The Designer Hire Wardrobe Only

Please read before booking: this appointment is only for garments from The Designer Hire Wardrobe, our own in-house collection. Dresses listed by other lenders on our platform are held by those lenders across Australia and cannot be tried on at our studio.

All garments listed under the lender "The Designer Hire Wardrobe".

• Not eligible: garments listed under any other lender. These are not available to try on through this service.

Booked for a dress from another lender by mistake? Because of how our try-on booking system works, we're unable to refund try-on appointments. You're still very welcome to come into our studio and try on pieces from The Designer Hire Wardrobe, and we'll always issue a store credit for your appointment fee so it doesn't go to waste.

Your appointment

• Standard appointment: 30 minutes, 1–3 garments, $20.
• Location: our studio in Carina, Brisbane. The address is emailed to you once your booking is confirmed.
• Trying more than 3 garments? Please book two appointments back to back. Both fees ($40) will be credited.

How to book

1. Choose a time that suits you.
2. At checkout, tell us which Designer Hire Wardrobe garments you'd like to try and your event date. We cannot guarantee availability without this information.
3. Look out for your confirmation email with the studio address.

Not all garments are in the studio at the same time, so the details you give at checkout help us have yours ready.

Can't make it to our studio?

There are two easy ways to check your fit from home:

• Check the brand's size guide. Every designer sizes a little differently, so we recommend looking up the size guide on the brand's own website before you book.
• Try our brand new AI Try-On. You'll find it below each product on our website, so you can see how a piece looks on you before you hire.

Important details

• Your fee comes off your hire. Your try-on fee is credited towards your hire when you book your garment within 24 hours of your appointment. If no booking is made, the fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another try-on or hire.
• A try-on does not reserve the garment. Garments are only secured once the hire fee is paid.
• Rescheduling. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice, you will be able to do this via your confirmation email. If your chosen garment is unavailable for your appointment, we'll contact you to reschedule.
• Care. Any marks or damage caused during a try-on will incur cleaning or repair fees.
